As easy as it could be...

I went to one of those sites where you enter your info in the hopes you'll get a good quote from a couple guys and you'll be able to make a decision on who you'd like to use. Got an email from Mercury very quickly. There was a number attached that allowed text messages, so I texted my question: I have my vehicle loaded with stuff...handmade guitars, boutique amplifiers, handmade wooden vases, computer, television- you get the idea. Items that can simply not be replaced- they were in my truck and I was stuck in California. I needed to get home and the truck was too heavy to get over the Rockies. Work had shipped the truck out to CA on their flatbed and had me go somewhere else once I got there. So you can imagine how frantic I was.

Long story a bit shorter, Joel and Jim and Mercury were more than kind and understanding. My initial contact with them was brief and their quote was higher than others that came in quickly as well. My text prompted a call from Jim- now, I'd never had to ship a vehicle before so I was quite a novice at this point. I nearly hung up on Jim because I had received a quote for a bit cheaper quotes but he was kind and instructed me to proceed with caution- he'd work on his quote and send me a list of things to look out for when choosing a carrier.

This list brought forth a whole great deal more questions the guys were able to answer. Jim transferred me to Joel and he answered every inane question I had and made the whole deal quite easy. He even put up with my terrible jokes. HIGHLY recommend.

In short, truck came in unscathed, a day late- which worked in my favor because I had to be out of town the day it was due. Driver was courteous, and fast to unload upon delivery. I'll definitely be using them again.
