Original quote was for $540. I was contacted by another shipper who said I wouldn't get transport for the amount that was bid. Spoke to Jim, who was annoyed by what was said. He said he had a truck coming that could do it for $650. I asked if that was firm and he said it was. I was OK with the new price. Following up, I was told that the shipper didn't want to come out of his way to the smaller city that the car was at. About 6 days later, he was able to get a truck there for $800. He did say that I could wait for another, but I had already left days earlier and didn't want to leave my handicapped father-in-law to deal with it any longer.

Hi L Charlton, Thank you for your feed back. I'm sorry to hear that your final price didn't match your quoted price. We do try our best to keep the final price as close to the initial quote as possible with a reputable carrier, unfortunately sometimes the prices do change. We understand that this can be an inconvenience, but we want to make sure we get you the best carrier possible to transport your vehicle. Thank you for your business.
