Highly Recommend Mercury Auto Transport!

I am very pleased with my service with Mercury Auto Transport and have Jim, my contact, to thank for it. I made it very clear to him how worried I was about putting my trust and faith into his company to transport my car, my baby! I have never transported a car and to transport it across country was very stressful and overwhelming for me. I looked into options months ago but just procrastinated because I didn't want to deal with it and feared something happening to the car, or worse yet not getting it. But Jim held my hand through the whole process. His quote was right on the money with regards to other estimates I got. What he quoted originally was $1075 but because I only gave him 3 days notice, for him to find a carrier for me cost me just a little more money so ultimately I paid $1175. Again, it was fair as I was even quoted higher rates from others. I spoke to Jim on a Monday and wanted the car picked up that Thursday or at worse, Friday or Saturday. As I expected because others were already on the list for a pickup from the East Coast I was not able to get a pickup with that short of a notice. But I was ok with it. Once they got a driver, I was told the driver would get my car Saturday between 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. The only negative part of this experience was that the driver didn't contact my dad to let him know that there were delays due to other pickups and that he wouldn't be available afterall to arrive during that time range. So my dad had to track the driver down himself . Only then was he told that the driver would be there between 7-8 p.m. My dad was upset because had he at least known earlier that there would be that much of a delay then he could have planned his day better instead of wait around. But then the driver still could not come that night because he said he was having trouble with the hydraulics. There were bad rainstorms that day so it was better off. So then the driver came 8 a.m. Sunday morning. But the driver was cool about letting my dad put my bike in the backseat of car!

I want to make it clear that the pickup delay was by no means the fault of Mercury. I definitely understand how things can happen. And there was bad weather on the East Coast! But considering the pickup delay, my car still arrived within the expected time frame! Jim told me I would get the car Thursday or Friday (so within 7 days). I still got the car on Thursday so that's only 5 days! I was impressed and the driver was nice. I feared he would be sketchy as I was giving him $1000 in cash on the spot. That originially made me uncomfortable since I am a woman dealing with a male stranger, but it was fine! We met up in the middle of the day around 11 am - noon in my residential area. He got the car one block from my house and waited for me as I had to walk to the bank, get the money and walk back.

Jim kept in touch with me constantly with updates and asking about the progress of my car pickup and arrival. I highly recommend this company! I was worried for nothing! Do not bother going through another company. Even once I started the process with Jim, other companies were still contacting me and tried to steal me from Jim! They were very shady! BEWARE! Jim will talk you through everything you want and need to know! Trust him! 5 star company! Thank you, Jim!!
