Good communication with Jim Gozde other than the confusion on price at one point. Transport was around the winter holiday so, to keep the price low, Jim guided me on adjusting the timelines for pickup and delivery, and finding a drop-off location that was nearer a major city (I live in a rural area 60+ miles from Los Angeles). The savings was $125-$275 relative to the other quotes.
Neal was the driver. Having an 18-wheeler, he couldn't park just anywhere so we rendezvoused where he could easily load the car. At the drop-off location, my friend wasn't able to leave her house to pick up the car, so Neal drove it to the house. He found the closest possible parking spot to the pickup/dropoff location very quickly. For me, it was 1/4 mile. I brought the dogs and we had a nice walk back to the house.
