I work for a car dealership in Texas and had a customer request a specific vehicle at I did not have in stock. The closest vehicle I could find based off my customers specifications was in Rexburg, ID. I looked on this site to see who was rated #1 and found Magic Carpet Auto Transport. They must log on and rate themselves because it was anything but professional. First I was quoted $1,127.00

Original Price Quote:
" The total price to move your 2011 GMC Yukon 2500 from Rexburg ID to Midland TX on an Open car carrier is $1,127.00 (after $30 rebate) . This price is all-inclusive and includes full insurance free of deductibles and our door-to-door executive service."

After I called to set up my order they sent me my order confirmation with $1,157 as my price. They didn't even pull the $30 rebate out like they said they would. Being that I needed this vehicle ASAP I said go ahead and get it. Magic Carpet took my $260.00 deposit and I didn't hear from them until a week later, even after I sent 2 emails and a voicemail. When I called and got a hold of the lady that took my order one week prior, she said the price was going to go up to $1,400. Again I am in need of the vehicle and to please my customer I agree to the price increase and ask her to get it. She calls me back 10 min later and says that the carrier is now full and would have to go back to the drawing board. What did they do during the first week? Why did it take until I hounded them on the phone that they "Magically" found a truck and then just a quick it "Magically" wasn't available any more.

Its one thing if you can't get it but tell me that. Don't lead me on assuming you have things handled and that your a reputable business when you obviously not.

Advice to anyone reading this and considering using Magic Carpet to transport a vehicle. DON'T
