DRIVER PICKED UP MY CAR IN CA ONE DAY AHEAD OF TIME, NEVER GAVE ME A DEFINITIVE TIME AND DATE OF DELIVERY. AT MID POINT THE DRIVER CALLED THE COMPANY AND INFORMED THEM THAT THE CAR WAS INOPERABLE (DEAD BATTERY) PAID TO HAVE THE CAR IN THE TOP TIER (BEING A CONVERTIBLE) DRIVER NEVER PLACED THE CAR ON THE TOP TIER. THE BATTERY WAS DRAINED SO THAT THE DRIVER HAD TO SUPPOSEDLY HANDLE THE CAR WITH HIS "WINCH" AND I WAS CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $200 ON DELIVERY. HE THREATENED ME THAT IF I WAS NOT HOME THE DAY THAT HE WAS DELIVERING HE WOULD PLACE THE CAR IN STORAGE AND IT WAS MY FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY. I WOULD TRY TO REASON WITH THE DRIVER FOR ALTERNATIVE DELIVERY DATES THAT WOULD ACCOMODATE MY SCHEDULE TO NO AVAIL. THE OFFICE MGR ; NICOLE WAS NOT ANY BETTER. HER LACK OF MANNERS AND CUSTOMER RELATIONS WERE TANTAMOUNT TO A CATTLE HANDLER. NO COMPROMISING AND SHOTGUN TACTICTS. THIS WAS A HORROR SHOW FROM THE SECOND THE CAR WAS PICKED UP TO DELIVERY. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN. THE BBB WILL HAVE AN EARFUL WITH ME ON THEIR ABUSIVE TACTICTS TO SPUNGE MORE $ FROM YOU.

Greg Bailey Greg@MagicCarpetAuto.com...Louis...upon placing your order, your vehicle was dispatched immediately. Our carrier picked up your vehicle within the time parameters you provided so I can't understand how we picked it up early? You did not tell us that your car was inoperable and needed a jump start to run. If you would have provided accurate information on the inoperable state of your vehicle...standard inop costs of $150 would have been added to your original quote. Based upon your misinformation...the carrier had no choice but to collect the $150 inop fee when he delivered your vehicle. When you accepted the terms and conditions of your order it states therein that you would be assessed an additional charge for an inoperable vehicle...by the carrier...not us..and were in fact charged much below the rate the carrier could have charged you. If you would have been upfront with me from the beginning, you could have saved yourself some grief.
