My daughter and I were nervous about cross-country shipping her car, 3 years old but with low mileage and good body condition. She started school in North Carolina on Monday, Jan 10, moving there from Oregon. She was to arrive by plane the morning of Wed, Jan 5 (on a red-eye) and take a shuttle van to her new apt. She needed the car immediately to be able to get furniture, household supplies, textbooks and generally prepare for school over Thursday-Sunday - she lives 5 miles from campus. This is the story I told Magic Carpet in December, trying to get the best service we could on the delivery of her car. Of course we knew weather could be a factor for the trucker, considering the winter storms happening across the country. Remarkably, the car was delivered Wed afternoon, Jan 5, less than 6 hours after she arrived! It was dirty from weather, of course - but the timing was amazing - exactly when she wanted it, but certainly sooner than she expected!! We appreciate that Magic Carpet communicated the special circumstances on our order, booked the carrier right away, and followed up as appropriate through the entire process.
