I was quoted a price of $230 on credit card when the car was picked up two days early ( on Dec. 20th instead of the 22nd) and a certified check fir $973 when the car was delivered. Kathy then said that there was good news, the car would be picked up by a transport truck but they needed $70 more than the quoted price. The car was delivered on Jan.1st which was fine and when asked the driver said that it had taken 4 days to get to Florida. The tank which had been over half full was very nearly empty and the check that I was to give was for $1100 making it more than the $70 which I had been quoted by phone. The car was in good shape and the driver who had been in the country for 4 years only , He said that he had come from Uruguay took the car off the truck very easily and competently. When I have it transported back at the end of March I will look for another company because I believe if a sum is quitted and is in the contract that this should be the price that one pays.
