I had a 1998 Ford Mustang Cobra picked up in Michigan and delivered to Alabama, order #1335180. This was my first experience with having to ship an automobile. I bought the above vehicle via eBay and needed it shipped to my house. I am active duty Air Force and was deployed overseas at the time I bought the car. Magic Carpet Auto Transport made the whole transport process so much easier than I was expecting it to be. The only "hiccups" that I would have is the fact that I didn't hear anything from them for a couple days so had to contact them after I submitted my order to pay my deposit. However, I'm sure that had something to do with me being deployed and they could not reach me via telephone. Secondly, is the price changed from the original quote I was given. My initial quote was $430 but I ended up paying $630. I was told it went up because the initial quote was too low for a trucking company to want to go out of their way to pick up the car. Magic Carpet were super helpful, patient and understanding of my situation. They ensured my vehicle was picked up on the day I suggested and promptly delivered it to my house two days later. When I returned from the desert, my car was in the garage waiting for me. The car was clean and had absolutely no damage. My contact person was Mrs. Kathy Ashlock and she was a great help. She ensured I was notified of every update in a timely matter over e-mail. I highly recommend Magic Carpet Auto Transport to anyone looking to transport a vehicle.
