Trevon was very easy to work with. He was very communicative prior to us shipping our truck, but after I felt I had to initiate all the communication and he did not call when he said he would, especially as to when the truck would arrive, he said he would call when the truck was dropped off, never did. We delivered the truck at the dock in Hilo on Sept 7th. We did not get the truck delievered until October 12th. We felt this was way too long. When the truck arrived, the vehicle behind it had a dead battery so we had to wait until the transport guy got that started. The transporter was more worried about getting paid than getting us our truck, they called 4 times asking us if we had the money, which I responded "Yes, when we get our truck, you'll get your money." Magic Carpet had a good reputation in Hilo, we asked Matson who they recommended and they were one of the 2 that was given to us. I would not use a transport company to do this again. We shipped our car and picked it up ourselves in California and drove it to FL- we should have done that with the truck- even with the cost of flying out to CA, cuz we would have gotten our truck alot faster. We thought we had planned it so that the truck would arrive before our container and it didn't so, we were not able to start unloading our container until several days later, over a month was just way too long to wait.

Holly thanks for the review however the details you mentioned are not accurate. I do not work on Sunday and the driver knows that. You were given the correct estimates when you placed the order to ship from Hawaii. You dropped the car off at the port however the ship did not leave until the 18th. it takes 10-12 days from departure to arrive in the mainland and another 10 days to get to you. You knew of that! You also told me over the phone that you were happy with me and the driver after delivery. Thanks again for the business, I appreciate upfront honesty if there were any issues I certainly never heard any thing from you about being dis satisfied. We are the #1 carrier and the reasons you are not satisfied are not based upon any expectations I gave you. Best Regards, Trevon
