The transport driver and service itself was good. However, I was promised a $50 refund for posting a positive reivew. And I was told that it had to be totally positive or they wouldn't pay. It's been months. I've called several times, and was always told that the check was ready to be processed or would be in the mail. I never received it. I'll never use them again because of this lie. I have another car that needs a carrier and I will not be calling Magic Carpet Transport.

FIRST LET US MAKE ONE THING VERY CLEAR……WE DO NOT SEND REBATES OUT FOR “POSITIVE” REVIEWS!!! We send them out for honest reviews of the services provided. This is made clear on our Signature Page that every customer fills out at the time they also leave their review. I am providing the link to this Signature Page to clear up this misconception and false statement. On this Signature Page customer also fills out Name and Address to whom and where they wish their rebate sent too so there is no mistakes. http://www.magiccarpetautotransport.com/auto-transport-rebate.php I would encourage anyone who has any questions as to the Validity of our Rebate Program to go and read this as it is very self exclamatory. As for this particular review I would like to also clear up this matter. Renee’s check was issued on 3/25/2010 in the form of Check #1427 and mailed out on 3/30/2010 to the address she filled out on her Signature Page after the transport of her vehicle. Renee called in and complained that she had not received it. We took this matter very seriously and began to look into it. In doing so at one point during a call we asked Renee to please verify the address we were to send the rebate check too. She proceeded to provide the same one as on the Signature Page and which was on the check which our representative whom she was speaking with had a copy of in hand. The address was the same. We told her it had been mailed and that at this point until the check was returned, cashed or the 6 month period at which this check would become void there was nothing we could do short of cancelling the check. To cancel a check cost’s our company $25. We do not feel since we have followed all procedures properly and mailed the check to the correct address that our company should have to incur the check cancellation fee. We do understand how frustrating this can be for a customer, so take all precautions to ensure our procedures are followed. What is out of our hands is the US Postal Service and their procedures. In speaking with Renee our representatives at all times remained calm, courteous and professional, in their attempts to help and explain everything to her in regards to what we found out through our investigation of this matter. This is not an easy task when one’s integrity and honesty are being called into question while trying very hard to help someone. We are truly sorry this has happened and wish it was not out of our control. Should this check be returned we will make sure we call Renee and get it back out to her. We feel this review is not only unfair but also false in the statements made.
