While the Magic Carpet staff was very pleasant, the ultimate service delivered was disappointing. Pick up was 5 days late, with little communication from driver, and we were charged an additional pick up fee of $75 allegedly for taking the driver "out of his way" whereas we found out later he had two other pickups nearby. For drop-off, carrier was also late, out of communication so we had no information on delivery, and truck broke down, causing further delay. Magic Carpet staff were most apologetic and nice, and perhaps this was all the carrier's fault, but it is hard to see why we would call them again after this experience.
