The price was originally quoted at $899 (after $50 rebate, which wasn't very obvious at first how to get, or that one was used in the quoted price). We were pushed to make the first available date sooner than desired, which seemed especially odd since that made the date Memorial Day weekend. We kept having to call back and get the contact person to call us back to get status updates on truck availability - it would have been SO much better if he had called us with changes.. We were not told until almost a week after the first available date that our locations was off the major transport routes and that the price would need to increase to compensate. We were told not to do the guaranteed pick-up, since we should be able to get a pick-up for less, but the price came out only about $100 lower, for way more time waiting around for the pick-up to occur. We were told not to use a credit card to pay since that made transporters not want to pick up the car due to slowness in the payment clearing, and then ended up waiting that long for pickup anyway. Final cost was a charge of $154.50 to a credit card, as well as the pain to get cashier's check of $900 (with $10 fee) for the transporter on delivery.
