Car Safely Arrived, but Customer Service was Lacking . . .

The bottom line is that my car made it safely from my pick-up location to my destination and it only took 7 days from the time it was picked up to the time it reached my destination. I had to call the driver to see when he would arrive at my destination. He said he would call me back to update me and never did when he promised, so I always had to reach out.

More frustrating though, it took 13 days to get my car on a truck from the time I made the reservation. Before I booked with Magic Carpet, they said it could take up to 10 days and that they would "get aggressive" to find a driver to pick it up. As soon as I booked with Magic Carpet, they said getting a car on a truck within 10 days was just an "estimate." Before my car was put on a truck, I called every two days to see if a driver was available. My agent, Kathy, was very hard to reach and never updated me as promised. I continually had to call her. After 13 days of waiting to get my car on a truck, I threatened to use another company because one of the main reasons I selected Magic Carpet was because they led me to believe they could quickly find a driver to pick up my car. It wasn't until that point that Kathy called me back and said she found a driver. All ended well, but customer service was lacking.

Julie, sorry you feel this way. This route was very backed up and became diffecult to get your vehicle moved in a timely matter. Im glad things worked out at the end.
