When I first realized I was shipping my car back to Maui, I compiled a list of several shippers and gave them each a phone call. It was an easy choice to pick Magic Carpet Auto Transport and their friendly staff to get my car back to the Islands.
This was the third 'boat ride' for my vehicle, and for some reason or another I have used a different company each time. By far my experience with Kathy Ashlock and Magic Carpet Auto Transport was the best. Starting with price, $1,050, was the best price I could find to ship my car from Long Beach harbor to Kahului harbor, Maui. My order # 3544704 was dropped off ontime and was a full week early arriving on Maui. That alone saved me a full week of rental car costs!
The car had its usual ocean residue on it, but really not that bad, and the car itself was looked over and no problems of any kind were found. The new windshield that was installed prior to shipping was in great shape and after a full tank of gas and a car wash we were ready to go.
I could'nt be happier with the way things turned out while shipping my car here to Maui. I would certainly recommend Kathy Ashlock and Magic carpet Auto Transport to anyone who needs to ship a vehicle to or from the mainland to Hawaii, or anywhere else for that matter.
Moving to Hawaii from the mainland can be stressfull at times, and the great service and timely delivery that I received from using Magic Carpet Auto Transport really helped toward my family making a smooth transition to life here on maui! Aloha!
