Location, Location, Location

This was my first experience transporting a car. Overall the customer service was very good.
When I initially placed my order the pickup location was in West Virginia. I had offered to choose a more traveled route in PA but was assured WV would be fine. I waited 7 days with no carrier assigned for pick-up.
I researched a location and offered to drive the car 80 miles north to a location in PA ON a highway for a carrier to pick-up. After that, the car was picked up in 5 days and delivered in 8 days over the 4th of July holiday. I learned that the pick-up location is key. I'm not sure how much longer it would have taken had I not suggested a different location.

Stephanie was helpful. At first I was told the Carrier would charge an additional $50 fee for the change in pick-up location. After explaining that I was going 80 miles out of my way to bring the car to a more convenient location for the Carrier, Stephanie was thankfully able to renegotiate the extra fee for me, so my overall cost remained the same.
Every time I called or emailed I received a timely response and everyone was willing to help.
I would choose Magic Carpet again and would recommend them – with the advice of having a pick-up location where truckers are readily available. ;-)
