It's very difficult to review only the "broker" without assessing the total auto transport experience. The first contacts with Kristaan were pleasant, she seemed intelligent and very willing to help. I was assured by her that things would go smoothly. Her demeanor was a large factor in choosing Magic Carpet. Unfortunately she went on vacation prior to my vehicle being picked up and a carrier had not been scheduled. I was put in contact with John at this point (about 2 days before the car was to be picked up). John found a company to transport the vehicle (Chohan Auto Transport) and John assured me that they were reliable and reputable. Chohan was the only company he could find and they needed an extra $63 on top of my quoted price. Chohan was supposed to pick the car up on a friday afternoon but after numerous "technical difficulties" they finally picked it up on saturday afternoon. For an entire day, nobody was willing to give me an estimated time of pickup. Throughout this process John was always understanding with me, but when he would talk to the driver he would portray me as an angry and violent customer. Not surprisingly, John would portray the driver as frustratingly incompetent when talking to me. Basically, John is always the good guy . . . just the middle man . . . pretty much useless and the customer and the driver are the bad guys . . . the one paying the bill and the one doing all the work. So, in summary without reflecting too much on Chohan Auto Transport, Kristaan seems competent but she was not present for any of the "heavy lifting". John is mostly competent at the art of BS and probably assumes that no one can see through the piles of dung being heeped upon them when dealing with John. Never use Chohan Auto Transport and if you do use Magic Carpet, ask for Kristaan and make sure she isn't going to leave for vacation any time soon.

Ryan - So sorry the experience wasn't pleasant. Wish I hadn't been on vacation the week your vehicle was shipped. Glad things did get taken care of, but not an experience I wish for any of my customers to repeat. If I can ever help in the future, I will make sure I am here to see everything thru for you.
