Overall I was reasonably happy with the entire shipment process despite a few things that occurred. When I originally spoke with Kathy she was very friendly and informed me that she would be tracking my shipment the entire way and keep me informed of what was going on with my car, although that did not happen without me calling for information. The pick up was very quick which was why I agreed to pay top dollar to ship my car. I paid $2,100 dollars to ship my car and when the truck driver came to pick it up I was already in Hawaii and he told the person that I asked to take care of my car that it was $25 dollars more that what I was told and had agreed to pay (which I find frustrating). Next when I called to find out the status of my car Kathy was unavailable and the women that I spoke to was extremely rude and unhelpful. Finally when Kathy called me back she just then looked up the status of my car and found out that the truck driver broke down and had a delay until someone else picked up all of the cars on his route. In my opinion I should have received a phone call letting me know what was going on. Next Kathy informed me that the "estimated" delivery date was 6/29/10 and that there "is no guarantee" but she and the port would call me when my car arrived. On 6/29/10 I called Kathy and she looked up my car's status informing me that it arrived almost a week prior...so when I asked why she or anyone else didnt call me she had no response. I was stuck paying an additional rental car fee due to the lack of communication. So- even though the car was picked up quickly and arrived in good condition despite being extremely dirty I would have appreciated the customer service that I was told I would have received. I spent alot of money and shipping a car from the East Coast to Hawaii is stressful enough so it would have helped to alleviate some anxiety that I already had. I think Kathy is a very nice women but I definitely feel that it is important to follow through with what you tell people you will do especially in customer service.

Danna, Sorry you feel you didnt receive 5 star service. Looking through the notes I found that I keep you informed every step of the way. On June 17th I put a call into you letting you know when your car would be available at the port. It was delayed getting their but that was out of my control.
