To be polite, I would not use Magic Carpet again. My customer service experience throughout this whole process was less than acceptable. I had two individuals who were my points of contact in reference to my order, one, Hillary, who initially took my order, and the other, Stephanie, who was supposed to be my primary point of contact. Hillary, thank you for being so nice and so kind. Hillary provided excellent customer service in taking my order, no complaints. She was helpful with any questions I had when I called. As my primary point of contact, I cannot say the same for Stephanie.

You might understand that after driving 2,963 miles myself from Pennsylvania to Washington and moving to a totally new location and not knowing anyone, I was very unhappy to learn that I would have to be driven to Federal Way, WA to receive the car that I shipped. Stephanie got very huffy with me over the phone once I voiced my dissatisfaction with the service. My trip to Federal Way was at least an hour and half away from the location from which I was quoted (Bainbridge Island, WA) by Magic Carpet. Extremely sad that they couldn't even get it to Seattle, let alone Bainbridge! Granted, the transport company picked me up and drove me to pick up my vehicle; however, this was unacceptable to me as I was busy managing the move into my new home, etc. The quote I received and money I paid was for the car to be delivered to Bainbridge Island, NOT Seattle, and certainly NOT Federal Way (all the way down South by Tacoma). The expectation was set that it would be delivered to Bainbridge, and if there was going to be a problem with the delivery I believe that the individual so hard at work on 'managing my account' should have kindly pointed out the problem in advance, not fallen back on the fine print in the contract where it talks about having to meet the driver if he feels he cannot get close enough to your location. An hour and a half is WAY out of the way. I'm positive he could have at least made it into Seattle.

Honestly, what did I pay the broker for? I probably would have saved a ton if I had just gone through the transport company directly. I was paying for someone to make sure the whole process went as smoothly as possible and honestly all they did was take my money for nothing. The auto transport company delivered my car in perfect condition, however, the hassle of having to drive 20 minutes out of my way for them to pick it up and then an hour and half out of my way for me to receive it was just unacceptable. I HIGHLY suggest going directly through an auto transport company next time to anyone shipping their car in the future and avoiding the middle man. They are useless.

Camille, I apologize that you didnt feel that you recieved a five star service. However, I do remember keeping you updated all throughout the transport process. You placed your order with us on May 20th and i contacted you May 25th 3:58:05 PM (PST) and was unable to reach you by phone so i left a message letting you know that we have a carrier assigned and gave you the carriers company name adn the amount due on delivery as well as the estimated pick-up and delivery date, also Camille i did contact you again to make sure everything went ok with the pick up of your vehicle on 5/26/2010 1:17:30 PM (PST) and you said things went good. And then you had contacted me on 6/7/2010 at 9:36:29 AM (PST) and you had said the driver wasnt going to drive to the Island, however, i explained to you that sometimes our drivers cannot get to your direct area and may have you meet him in a more convienient location. Which was also stated in our terms and conditions. However, i do apologize that you had to drive to Federal Way WA instead of Seattle, which if you had let me know once he tried arranging that with you i would have contacted him to get him to go into Seattle versus federal way. The driver should have accomodated a little closer however there was nothing in our hands we could do to get the driver to go on the Island. Once again camille i do apologize that you didnt feel this service went well. Take Care~Stephanie
