Overall very pleased with the service. Trevon located Pioneer Auto Express as the carrier. Initially I was a bit skeptical about their mixed reviews but in my case they worked out perfectly. The driver is key but neither the broker or you have control over who the driver is and no ratings are available on individual drivers so you roll the dice and hope you get a competent one.

There was some initial miscommunication about the pick up date between Trevon and the carrier. I only had several hours notice that the carrier was picking up the day before the planned date communicated by email by Trevon. If I missed the pickup date it would delay the car pickup for at least another week. Fortunately I had prepared the car several days prior to that so it was just a matter of loading the trunk of the car. Trevon was notified enroute that my son who was to be picking up the car would be out of town on the planned delivery date. He interfaced with the carrier enroute and was able to have the car delivered earlier. Then, communication directly between the carrier and my son was excellent on coordination of delivery. The car was delivered with much less dirt on it (probably had to do with the time of year) than I anticipated and in perfect condition.

Here are lessons I learned from this experience.
1) You cannot put items in the transported car that are visiable from outside the car
2) Make sure you get from the broker confirmation of who the carrier will be so you can check them out ahead of giving them your car
3) Although the pick up date was agreed upon - things change for the carrier so it may be a day or so earlier or later
4) If the carrier has a holding area near your pick up or delivery location it enables him to load or offload your car and transport it closer to your location since he can use a smaller flat bed truck and not an 80ft 8 car cross country truck that cannot get into to tight areas
