I should preface this by saying that my order was complex and that Hillary was very nice and worked hard to accommodate my specific needs. It seems my order was split into 2 parts with different outcomes.

I was under a time crunch and needed my car either delivered to baltimore quickly, or if not, then up to new york. The scheduled baltimore part of the delivery seemed to have been arranged perfectly, but unfortunately the car was not able to be released by my contact in Florida, so I had to cancel and schedule the move to NYC. No problems or complaints up to now, in fact, I would say the coordination by Hillary was exceptional.

The problem started with the New York quotes. First, I received a quote of 870 minus the $50 they refund you for writing a review. (yes- - the reason they have so many reviews is that they pay you to review them- - I also wonder if the reason so many are favorable is because of that same fact)
That was fine.
they make you pay $270 "deposit", which is actually just the broker fee, then you pay the rest to the driver in cash (600).
also fine. I don't mind a company making a profit, though I quickly found out that other brokers may charge a smaller fee.

Here's where the problems started.
First- I was quoted a price into Manhattan, but received a call from the 'first' driver who said the price would be increased, and I would have to have the car delivered to new jersey, not new york city because his truck couldn't enter the city. Even that would have been tolerable, though inconvenient.

But Hillary confirmed that the car should be delivered to Manhattan, the price would be $870 (minus their $50 back so $820 total, and arranged after five more days another driver.
This time however, the price suddenly jumped $1207, $922 to the driver, and the rest to them, though they would 'knock off' $40 from their price to get it to 1167 total, then minus the $50 if you do a review. I tripled confirmed it was scheduled to come to manhattan.
Needless to say I was disappointed at the rapid price change, but even this I considered possible.

Then I got a call from the driver, who said the car was scheduled to be delivered to "wayne" New York, and that that company again didn't even deliver to manhattan.
That was it for me. I canceled my order and scheduled a delivery with Direct Express. I hope that goes well, I really don't know.
The only reason for the 2nd star is that Hillary seemed very nice, accommodating, and that she seemed to be trying her best, even if her results were inconsistent.

Adam thank you for both starting and ending on a positive note, I really feel that I gave the most professional and friendly service possible. Next I’d like to mention that we found not 1, but 3 transporter for you. It was only the last that was for more money and you changed your destination from MD to NY. This is a longer distance it cost more money to ship there. Not to mention other factors that are out of our control like supply and demand. Unfortunately there are almost 600 cars trying to get out of Florida currently. The drivers have raised their prices because of this demand for their service. I’m sorry for any inconsistency in service; we really do strive to provide honest, friendly, and efficient service. Hillary Bergeson 360-834-2900x204
