I called magic carpet auto transport on a wednesday afternoon and had the company ship my truck from Tucson to Illinois. After waiting untill Firday afternood and still no company scheduled for my truck I knew they had bid the job too low even after calling twice to have them raise the price. Magic carpet takes 250.00 for the broker fee, which means the remainder balance goes to the the carrier, where as other companies take about 150.00 allowing more money to the carrier. I was very up front about money not being an object and that I was a very impatient person. When I tried to contact Kevin on Firday, he was out of the office and could not be reached. I choose phoenix auto transport late Friday and had a carrier scheduled in less than 24 hours and only paied 100.00 more. I personally feel magic carpet has high ratings due to the fact they give a 50.00 refund to the people who write a positive review on this site.

Ben, Sometimes, all you can say is, "I tried my best." Auto transport brokers walk a fine line when it comes to quoting. Our customers want the best price possible and the carriers do too. I must have missed the part about money not being an issue for you, it's rare a trait - I apologize for that. I wish you the best of luck with your move. You should know however, that it doesn't matter what you write in your review - we still give a rebate.
