On balance I think this is a well-deserved five-star review, though things did not go flawlessly. Magic Carpet was fine in all of this - what problems there were were due to the trucking company. It was very easy to arrange things with Magic Carpet, which was reassuring given that I was handing over the first brand new car I've ever bought. Pickup was arranged for my first available day and occured on the day scheduled, though didn't happen until 11 PM that evening - a check-in from the driver letting me know he would be so late. The driver made the trip from San Francisco to Pittsburgh very quickly - drop off happened only five days later. On the trip the driver apparently lost a key to a vehicle - not my vehicle - and contacted my wife at the drop-off location to arrange for the key to be overnighted to our house in Pittsburgh. Then Pittsburgh got 30 inches of snow on Monday and Tuesday. This meant that Fed-ex stopped doing home delivery. The driver impressively still managed to make it to Pittsburgh quickly, but then my wife had to spend several hours driving the driver in our car to the Fed-ex place to pick up the key and then back to his rig which he'd parked 30 miles away on the Turnpike. I fully expect that had the weather not been an issue then the driver would have managed to get our car much closer to the house, and delivering the car in five days through a brutal mid-west snow storm with no damage to the car balances out the inconvenience. All in all I would definitely use Magic Carpet again, though I'm hoping my next car shipment will be during a warmer month.

Jones,THANK YOU FOR THE FABULOUS 5 STAR REVIEW. I really appreciate the time you took to do this for me. It truly means alot. I enjoyed assisting you with your auto relocation. However, i do apologize for the experience you had with the truck driver, but also happy at the same time that you guys were able to make the process a better situation.
