We shipped my daughter's car from NH to CA for her senior semester in LA. We had never shipped a car before and were unsure which company to use, how the process works, etc. In reviewing companies on the Transport Reviews website, we requested quotes from some of the most reputable. Magic Carpet's quote came in at $1120, which was in the middle of the quotes that we received. Kristaan was very helpful in explaining the whole process and told us that our car would not be transferred to any "holding" lots in its trek across country. The transport company who picked up the car in NH was the same as the one who delivered it to my daughter in CA. Kristaan kept us informed as to the pick up and delivery times and also provided the cell phone number of the driver so that we could monitor our car's progress. The driver contacted my daughter in CA and kept her updated as to the exact time of delivery. There were some delays on the day of delivery due to the stop directly before ours. The person accepting the delivery of the other car was two hours late, which caused our delivery to be delayed. The car arrived dirty, but with everything intact. We were very happy with the service delivered by both Magic Carpet and the delivery driver and would use them again.
