First off, I would like to say that I was not pleased with the "Five Star" rated company. After the intial conversation with getting the quotes and terms. I was assured that I would receive phone calls as to keep me updated with how the car was in transit and if anything happen. Not once did I receive a phone call from Magic Carpet Auto Transport. I had to call almost everyday I was waiting to find anything out. Not only did I have to call them, I was put on hold for over 10 minutes during one of the calls. Also, I was told by Nicole that I would receive a phone call back about the transit of my vehicle so I waited all day with nothing. I called back the next day and found that Nicole had been promoted so thats why she did not call back. Way to get a promotion and not to make sure your customers are being taken care of. That shows the lack of customer satisfaction the company/employees may have. I'm actually still waiting for a phone call from one of the receptionist, Ellen I believe her name was, and I'm pretty sure I won't get the call.

On top of the horrible upkeep with the customer. I received the car 4 days after the date they mentioned and still not one phone call letting me know that it was going to be late or when it would arrive. First it was the 11th, then I had to call and find out that it wouldn't be delivered on time. They then proceeded to tell me that it should be there by Monday the 14th. Still, no phone call as to when it would arrive so I have to call once more. Finally after I call back and speak to several different people. I get a phone call letting me know my vehicle will not be delivered on the 14th but the 15th as its only 2 hours away. I understand, things happen due to weather or uncontrollable events but at least keep me updated. I had to call to find out the truck had broken down in Louisiana and was sure that the truck would be up and running by the end of the day. So 2 days go by and I call again to check on the status of the truck and it just left where it was broken down. I was not upset that the car had broken down but more so upset that I was never notified about the situation and that the car would be a day or so late.

I would definitely never go with Magic Carpet Auto Transport again. I would rather go with a 3/4 star company and have my car delivered as they all offer the same thing. My cousin had a car delivered from VA to CA the same time that my Lexus was being shipped and she received her car days before me. So I paid an extra $200 to get the same service as any other company would have provided. All in all, I finally received the car but in a filthy condition. I understand that it was driven 3000+ miles in an open trailer but it didn't help that whatever car was above mine on the trailer was dripping oil all over the hood. So with oil/dirt/sand and whatever else was built up on the hood cost me another $70 to have the outside detailed and get the oil/stains off the car. So choose carefully who you decide to go with.
