We found, when there were unexpected conflicts with the delivery falling on Sabbath (Friday evening), that we were actually working with three agencies. Magic Carpet was the most responsive in that they allowed us to work directly with the auto transporter dispatch and driver directly to find a satisfactory solution. As it turned out, we were able to meet up with the driver just 50 miles further on from our home on Saturday evening after the Sabbath had ended. The car was somewhat dirty from the open transport through a snowstorm in New Mexico but that was to be expected. There was no damage either visible or hidden and the milage added was the minimal necessary to the placement and removal from the transporter. The cost quoted, $991, was the actual final cost including both the Magic Carpet brokers fee and the final payment to the transport driver. The driver directly requested a tip even prior to receiving the payment and completing the paperwork.
