-My pick up was not confirmed until 24 hours prior to the scheduled date.
-The carrier called me to intertiew me and ask me a number of questions, so that they could make a decsion if they wanted to carry my vehile, this is something I thought the broker was to do.
-Then the broker called me only after the carrier called me once again to say they will try to pick up my vehicle, with a caveot "if they have sufficient room left on their truck." So I sort of had an aggreeement for a pick up. I thought that was strange.
- The carrier who aggreed to give it a go, was to pick up my vehicle early morning (9 AM) on the agreed "attempt" date. They ended up showing up at my home late evening instead (11PM). After an entire day of waiting I did not think my vehicle was going to be picked up at all. My broker was out of the office and unavailable at this time.
- Non-the-less, my vehicle was picked up and received in Las Vegas, but 12 hours late from the specified time, not a big issue. But the big issue turned out to be my vehicle arrived with a dead battery. Apparently the drive felt it neccessary to keep the keys in the ignition with the vehicle electonics left on. The carrier I had seemed to have little experience in transporting vehicles and did not realized leaving the keys in the ignition of a Mercedes was going to drain the battery. Even after I asked the keys be removed. I would have expected the broker would have vetted this carrier better.
