I set up the transport with Nicole Hancock, who was a pleasure to work with. She is knowledgeable, fair, and was willing to lower my price quote a bit when I got a better offer from another company. She did explain to me that my cross country transport (South Florida to Washington state) would cost above $1000, and that other companies who offer a lower quote would be in conflict with their drivers, and that very few drivers would agree to drive it for a lower price. I believe Nicole, and it sounds perfectly reasonable.

After having a great experience with Nicole, I tried to call back a few times and she was on another line. Whomever I spoke to on those occasions told me that they would have Nicole call me back but no one ever did. I was only trying to find out the estimated time of arrival.

The drivers themselves picked up my car early and delivered it early. This worked well for me, but I know that it wouldn't have been convenient for everyone. Although Nicole told me that the drivers would give 24 hours notice for pick up and drop off, they only gave me 2 hours notice. I don't think Nicole lied- the drivers with this company (Advance Auto Transport) were pretty anxious about their timing. The pick up driver in particular practically begged me to let him pick up the car a day early at 2 hours advanced notice. He didn't speak very intelligible English, either. This is not Magic Carpet's fault, as they only hire the driving company, but it should be kept in mind that Advance Auto Transport isn't the easiest company to work with, and you may wish to tell Magic Carpet to go with a different company.
