I lived close enough to drive my car to the port for shipment. At that time, I learned that the date of arrival would be 3-4 days later from when Magic Carpet had told me and would cause me to be without a car and the need for a rental. Also, be sure that shipper's office will be open when they say. I wasted a trip to pick up the car because the shipper held a union meeting, shutting down the facility, without telling me. Despite all this, I was pleased with the service from Magic Carpet, the price was reasonable, the shipper made it up to me for their lack of notice, and the car was fine.
