I gave them a three days window to pick the car up. She said they can do it. On the first available date I have called Kathy. According to her, no carrier picked it up on the website. At this time she cannot promise anything about pick up, or delivery. She asked for more money. I have agreed to $50 more. In the next day I called her agaig asking what is going on. She asked for more money again. I said,ok I give $200 more, but you have pick up the car this week. Nothing happend on that week. She did not returned my pghone calls, or emails. The following Monday I had to move to Nevada without knowing what is going to happen with my car. Anyway, 13 day later they picked up the car and shipped it Nevada. The original quote was $1,070. The day before arrival the driver called me, and asked to have $1,120 cash at dilivery. Magic Carpet Auto Transport already charged $206 on my credit card. I have called Kathy, who was not available for a lon-lon time. I emailed to asking an explanation. Her explanation, the $206 was the deposit. Why the $1,070 quote/contract turned to be $1,320? The driver knows nothing, but without the full amount, you cannot get your car back.
My problem is not the money. My employer reimbursed me for everything, but this is service.
What this company did is symple not acceptable. This is extortion.
I do recommend them to anybody.
Please avoid them!
