The driver (Emil with Roway Express) was excellent. He or his wife called us with updates as to when the car would be picked up and delivered. He was there when he said he would be and delivered the car a day earlier than expected. Couldn't have asked for better service from him.

Frustrating experience with Magic Carpet though. Called 2 days before the car was supposed to be picked up and was told that no one had picked up the order and I would probably have to put more money on the order to get a driver to pick it up. I was put off by that because I was given a quote and didn't think it was right to be told to pay more when I was just calling to confirm the date the car was to be picked up.

The situation was resolved after talking to I think his name was Sean who told me I didn't have to put more money on the order but I should go ahead and make the car available for pick up since they have 10 days from then to get a driver on it. I was not told that when I placed the order. Turns out that they took $30 from my deposit and put it towards the driver. I paid the same amount but I think Magic Carpet was paid less since more went to the driver.

I was satisfied with the end result but would've rated Magic Carpet higher if they had spared me the stress of wondering if my car was going to be picked up or not. An explanation that it's just the way the industry is was not enough for me.
