Warning: Use Magic Carpet Auto Transport Only If You Want A No Stress Experience

I needed to send my F-150 across the country on a military move as I did not want to seperate my family in the long drive across the country. Additionally, I thought that the decreased wear and tear on my truck and the corresponding savings on gas and maintenance made the decision to ship my vehicle an easy one.

Little did I know that the experience would soon turn into a nightmare.

I started off by requesting quotes for the transport about 45 days out from my scheduled departure from Sacramento, CA. Quotes quickly started rolling in and I chose the one that made the most sense from a financial perspective.
The customer service representative was friendly and sent me all of the required paperwork, assuring me that the company would keep me informed during the whole process.

The experience was a nightmare because the day of the scheduled pick up came and I still had not heard from the company despite multiple attempts to contact them. When I finally contacted the company, they informed me that the quote was too low and that the company needed an additional $500 to pick up my truck. Had I done the proper research into the industry I would have discovered that such "bait and switch" tactics were common and companies usually waited until they had customers in a corner before they informed them that the price was too low.

I immediately dropped the company and put out a new bid, this time researching the individual companies as they contacted us with bids. I ended up going with Magic Carpet because they had great reviews that pointed to their integrity and customer service.

The representative I worked with, Casey Jackson, was knowledgeable and friendly. He educated us as to how the process was going to play out and was patient with my questions.

The whole experience from beginning to end was phenomenal. The people of Magic Carpet are professionals and I felt like they actually cared about helping me solve my problems.

Not only do I give them a high recommendation, I do not plan on using anyone else in any future moves.
