.) Was called by Jack from Red Carpet and made a decision to go with company to transport my vehicle from Northern Carolina to Texas on the 22nd of March (this was 3-4 months prior to date)
.) Contacted Jack end of February about driver and times because I hadn't heard anything from him email or phone wise. Was reassured that closer to time of pick-up more information would be available, so I wait.
.) 2 weeks go by and I haven't heard from the truck driver or Jack so I call. I get a hold of him "just getting into the office" (it's 11am on a week day) and ask him to call me back whenever he gets to his computer. No call back.
.) A few days go by so I call Jack 4 times with no answer and leave a voice mail.
.) No call from Jack after two days so I get fed up and call the company. This is a week before my vehicle is to be picked up-mind you so at this point I am stuck with this company unless I want to spend both of my legs for another transporter- so I call the company itself. Turns out dear ol' Jack had been fired an no one had bothered to contact me to tell me that I was going to be reassigned to another agent(or whatever).
.) Receive a call from new agent informing me that the quoted price was going to be changed, tough luck, can't do anything about it because you can't threaten to leave for a cheaper price.
.) Finally get number from truck driver the day before pickup.
.) Driver does pick up, no problems there.
.) Driver delivers early, no problem, aside from 'oh, you have to pay me(the driver) because the company doesn't pay me with the card number they took from you at the beginning, better bust out the check book because you don't have $800 on hand.'

summary: I do not recommend this company to any one in the right mind or anyone who would like to keep their sanity. Oh, and a bribe in the form of an email after the transaction: Rate us 5 stars and you will be entered into a drawing to get reimbursed for the whole move!
I don't think so.
