I received 10 quotes from a website and decided to go with the person who seemed most sincere. She informed me that everyone low balled their quotes in order to get the shipment but then would demand higher prices in order to get the vehicle moved. This is exactly what happened; I became discouraged after a number of days and had to pay a couple hundred more than I originally was quoted in order to get anyone to pick up our vehicle. I have been in the trucking industry my entire life and have never experienced anything like it, even though I frequently use brokers to move freight from our factory. I would use Magic Carpet again in the future but would contact them directly instead of using a generic website to secure multiple quotes.

sue@magiccarpetautotransport.com 360-952-1742 Hi Brett, I'm sorry if there was any confusion with how I explained how our unique industry works. I actually did advise you that the price match quote you wanted to proceed with would probably not get your vehicle accepted by a carrier. I try my best to make things as clear as possible whenever a customer places an order with me. I still worked very hard to get your vehicle moved in your time frame and at the lowest price a carrier was willing to take it. Thank you for posting, all feedback is helpful feedback. Sue
