I booked my shipment with Magic Carpet after reading reviews on this site. Lloyd Taylor handled my quote. I booked it several weeks before I needed the car shipped from California, then booked plane tickets to meet the shipper there. They explained that shipments are not booked until a few days before the scheduled date. Four days before my flight, my shipment still was not secured. I called Lloyd and explained the situation, and he said he would look into it and call me back. Hours later, he called with a shipper. The shipment was $1125, more than the originally quoted $975. That was fine with me. The shipper (Cezar @ An Accurate Auto Carriers, a-aan.com) called me directly and we discussed where to meet. He picked up the car early, and had it to the east coast by the end of the week. He was easy to reach on the phone, laid back, easy to talk to, and even knowledgeable of my small town and where to meet to unload. The car was a little dirty, but there was snow and ice for a lot of the drive. While I was a little nervous about not being booked until a few days prior to the scheduled date, it all worked out well, and Cezar, my driver, was great to work with. I have not been paid for this review and would recommend Magic Carpet and the driver to others.
