terrible service-dmaged vehicle-no insurance

where do i start. these guys claim things that are simply not true, they actually lie to you to get your business.
i was scheduled to get my car picked up the day before we were catching a flight to GA. the transport company never contacted me. i called many times with no answers. i called magic carpet about this and they said they wouldn't do anything for me. sheila told me i could bring my car to the magic carpet hdqtrs in camas if the transport company was late. i told this to the manager and she told me that was simply not true. so here i am stuck at the hotel and we were leaving in a few hours. i finally got a hold of the transport company and they came and got the car.
then when they delivered the truck, there was major damage to it. scratches, dents all over the passenger side. i documented these issues to the driver and then paid him for the delivery. there should be some law that states you shouldn't have to pay if there is major damage to the vehicle.
then i called magic transport about the issue and they promised me the transport company had insurance and again magic carpet didn't do anything to help me.
it turns out that the transport company did not have insurance so i was pretty much out of luck. also, again, sheila lied to me stating they had insurance.
so here i am, paid $1100 to transport my vehicle and they caused $3000 of damage with no recourse.
i would stay away from these guys. i also shipped my sports car with 1 of the sister companies to magic carpet and had the same issues, damage with no recourse nor any help from the broker.

This review was on an order that was placed in dec was shipped in april and this is the first time I have heard anything about this order. I have been the VP of magic since april and have never heard of the customer or the problems they were having with the carriers insurance company. We at magic always try and assist in every way we can if a problem comes up which is rarely. We always provide carrier information to customer.
