Worst Service I've Ever Experienced

STAY AWAY

I booked a pick-up with Magic Carpet in April. I was told I would receive some sort of confirmation before the pick-up occurred.

No confirmation came.

I called the driver. The driver- shocked- told me that Magic Carpet should have called to inform me that the driver's licence had been suspended. Magic Carpet didn't.

I called Magic Carpet. They blamed the driver, didn't apologize, were defensive, got mad at me, and had no way to arrange for another truck. I cancelled.

Two weeks later Jon Posey calls back to say that he is going to charge my credit card anyway. Why? Apparently, they don't keep records. Jon didn't know the car wasn't picked up. Jon didn't know that we'd talked. Jon apparent has so many people drop f-bombs on him that he completely forgot that we talked.

End of story? No. In September I get an email from Magic Carpet asking that I write a review. And, for the first time in my life, I happily comply with an online review request!

THIS COMPANY IS AWFUL.

We cancelled your order because you had an order with another company to move your vehicle. I also never called you to collect anything on a CANCELED order. To be honest I never once spoke to you directly besides to set up your order. There was no correspondence from this customer after everything was set up. Please disregard this review.
