I was referred to Magic Carpet from a friend that used them for a cross country move. I contacted them on a Friday and was placed with Lloyd who patiently answered all of my questions. After receiving acceptable answers to my questions, I decided to place an order with Magic Carpet. Because I waited until the last minute to place my order (I was scheduled to leave the state the following Friday) Lloyd assured me that they would find a company to transport my car. Not hearing anything from Magic Carpet for two days, I decided to call and check on my order status. Lloyd was not available, but John assisted me. Although he wasn't as pleasant as Lloyd, John was very reassuring in his belief that a company was going to pick up my order. Thirty minutes later, John called me back to inform me that a company agreed to pick up my order at a higher rate than they quoted. Unfortunately, I wasn't by my phone to accept his call nor the other five calls him and Lloyd made. I finally listened to my messages three hours later and called Lloyd back. Because it was 6pm Lloyd was walking out the door for the evening, but took my call. He informed me that a company agreed to take my order, but they wanted a little more than the $515 Magic Carpet quoted. Because of the higher price request Lloyd agreed to reduce his broker fee from $150 to $125 to assist me with the extra cost. I was very excited that someone agreed to take my order and was fine paying the extra $60. JMT Transport, the company Magic Carpet set me up with arrived a day earlier than expected to pick up my car and was very professional. Overall, I was very happy with their service (you can read a review I did for them if you would like to know more). I contacted Magic Carpet to obtain a receipt of my payment for my job and received it within hours of the request. Magic Carpet was great and I would use them again in the future.
