My husband and I was moving to a small town Quincy in Illinois and the closest nearby airport is St Louis, Missouri and its 2 hour away. Our plan is to shipped to our to arrived in St. Louis at the hotel where we stayed, after that we will drive to Quincy. When I called Magic Carpet Auto transport on the June 4th, 2012. I spoke with Casey Jackson. I told him my situation and that I have to get my car shipped to St. Louis by June 13th or the 14th at the latest since I will need to check out of my hotel because I have an appointment with my landlord to get my house, and schedule with my other transporation to drop off my stuff. I asked them whether its possible, or else we will be driving our car instead of shipping. He promise that we have plenty of time and it wasnt going to be an issue, that my carrier will dropped of the car to the us by the 14th. After the call, he keeps pushing me to write a review for thim giving 5 star so his boss can see it before his annual meeting, he offered to give $15 off my shipping cost. He also asked to write on the title 5 star service, call Casey Jackson. I was very hesitant to do it since we havent completed the transaction. Following that, he keeps calling and ask me to write the review, he said the review is solely based on his customer service, and not the overall transaction or the carrier, and i can change at a later date if my experience isnt good. After many calls, I went ahead and did it for him hoping that everything will go smoothly as he promise. To make the story short, I had the WORST Experience in my life!! My car was pick up 1 day late, and delivered 4 days late which causes me to end up renting a car for 4 days which cost $120, drive 2 hours to my town, and having to drive back and forth to St. Louis to pick up my car 4 days later and spent over $80 in gas. Along the way and even a day before I fly out, i had check with him to make sure everything is going the way we planned and I stress how critical it is for my to get my car ontime since i schedule for my other transportation company to dropped off my stuff n Quincy on the 14th and I have to get there ontime. He said he spoke to the carrier and everything is on track and I should get my car the next day as we planned. After I fly into st. Louis and waited at the hotel, I COULD NOT get a hold of him EVER SINCE. He was always on another line and never called back to give me the status of where my car is or who have it so i thought I was scam by this company and my car was stolen! I was soo worried and panicking, I waited until the afternoon of the 14th before someone can locate where my car is but my carrier was in California, he said he wont get there until 4 days later. The carrier was also very rude and couldnt understand why I was frustrated, he said he never spoke to Casey jackson so he couldnt have told him that I will get my car ontime. I called the company back and spoke to another representative Lloyd, after telling my situation, Lloyd said he will reimburse me $50 to help with my rental car. A week later, I check with lloyd to see where my reimbursement is, he said it will take 1 week for it to process, so I waited 2 weeks later and called back, this time I was transfer to Ashley, Ashley then said it'll take 1 month to process, and of course I NEVER got any reimbursement. I had continue to try getting a hold of Casey Jackson and emailing him, but he never responded. What a LIAR, HISHONEST people this company is hiring. I hope the owner know about this and stop hiring employees like that, or else eventually they will go out of business since no one will trust to do business with them again! I'm sure i'm not the only person going through this but most people are lazy to come back and write a review due to the trouble of submitting it, however, i couldnt sleep last night and felt that its our RESPONSIBILITY to tell the truth so other people doesnt get scam or go through the same trouble that I have to go through.

We have sent a request for your refund to corp. and sometimes it may take a few weeks to receive it but you will receive it! I understand how frustrating shipping a car can be. We sometimes find ourselves at the mercy of the carriers... we have know control of the time factor once the carrier has picked up your car we can only tell you what they tell us..carriers can be late for a number of reason.truck failure being one. delays in pickups or deliveries are just a fee. We at Magic try hard to always be honest with our customers and try and give information that is accurate and timely. If carriers tell us they will deliver on a certain date and fail to do so it may appear we are giving wrong info and of course it is us that gave the info so it is us that you are unhappy with.. we again are sorry for the carrier being late and not performing as he had agreed.
