Summary: The highest quote doesn't net you the best carrier. In my case, the job got sold twice and in the process the brokers skimmed 30 percent off the top. I won't use a broker again because they diminish the power of your bid and they are not in control of your transaction.

Good: a) Felicia was very courteous, prompt, and got the job done. b) Car was picked up right away and delivered 3 days later (1400 miles) with no damage observed.

Bad: a) Job was sold to United Auto, who sold it to GNE Auto Transport. Felicia provided a Certificate of insurance for United Motor and explained away my concerns that the certificate didn't look like it was for the carrier that contacted me for pick up. Felicia still doesn't know who GNE Auto Transport is, (I have their receipt) and asked me to write a carrier review for United Auto. She was clearly not in control of this transaction and I have no idea if my car was insured by the actual carrier. b) car had 80 unauthorized miles on the odometer (compared to when it was picked up).

Notes: Quotes came in from $550 to $830. I picked the $778 quote. Driver got $500. His dispatcher got $48. Magic Carpet Auto (and United Auto) got $230.

FELICIA BOND @ 602-354-2851, 360-210-4892, felicia@magiccarpetautotransport.com Felicia Bonds summary: Your order was placed on the 15th for $778. Your order dispatched for $778 on the 15th. Your vehicle loaded on the 16th. It delivered on the 19th. It was transported by United Motor. Your vehicle was fully insured, even though according to you, you didn't think it would be since the drivers name wasn't on the certificate." There were no damages on the vehicle. You received 5 Star customer service from myself for the duration of the trip. Your car delivered in 3 days from loading originating in TX and dropping in CA…and you are still complaining?? I sent you a second link to rate the carrier and yet for some reason you felt the need to combine them? All I can say is Good luck in transporting your next vehicle next time by yourself. Thanks
