I would only recommend Magic Carpet if you want to take the risk of them underbidding your transport and then being fed excuse after excuse while your vehicle sits waiting to be picked up. After finding them #1 on this site, I figured I couldn't go wrong. Well, I was incorrect. To make a long story short, my vehicle was ready for pickup on 12/20/11. I understood, as Sheila said, there would be possible delays due to the holidays. Come 1/10/12 still no word on my vehicle coming out west, no emails, no calls. I change the dropoff to ID as Sheila says she only has trucks traveling to ID, none to OR(after she had contacted 350 carriers she says). A few days later, now no trucks are going to ID. WTH? 1/17/12(my vehicle has been waiting in NJ for 28days at this point) she says that no trucks are headed to NJ due to the bad weather in the region. I look on weather.com and it's raining over there. EXTREMELY frustrated, I call a few others on this site who candidly inform me that most likely I was quoted a medium SUV rate when my vehicle is actually considered a large SUV due to its 5500lb weight. I end up booking with Angels Moving Autos who kept me up to date as they said they would and the vehicle even arrived a day early! I HIGHLY recommend Dina and Meaghan at Angels Moving Autos as you WILL NOT be snookered by them!!; 888-530-0481.

FOR EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FOR YOUR FREE QUOTE CALL ME ON MY DIRECT LINE at 360-991-4756 Jeremy let me first say I am sorry we could not get a carrier to accept your load. You were priced based off of what the carriers doing this route had been accepting but due to the holidays and weather it did not work out. I would like to state I feel there are some mistruths in this review. First you state no calls, no emails yet our systems logs communication and it shows we spoke many times changing locations of delivery to try to get this moving. While it may have been raining the weather men were calling for snow so carriers were not wanting to take the chance of possibly getting stranded and were staying out of the area. While we do our very best to quote customers pricing that will get there vehicles moved honestly there are factors that sometimes make this difficult. I did address the issue of raising the price due to the circumstances we were encountering and this was something you just did not want to consider. Our dispatch department did contact carriers via email, fax and calling and none of them wanted to take this load. Once again I am sorry we could not accomplish this for you. It is not typical of our company as our reviews and mine in particular show. ~Sheila~
