3rd time I used magic carpet

I bought a car on ebay and paid the guy on a monday and called magic carpet. They said it would probably be a week or longer before it was picked up, which is what I expected since that is normal as I have shipped many vehicles. They called me back and said they would get it the next day and have to me by friday. They picked it up the next day and what do you know, friday it was here. I have used many shippers in the past but magic carpet has been the most reliable and cheapest. Don't even bother clicking the button that will give you various quotes from different people. You will get a bunch of calls all day getting quotes that mainly cost more or are 20 dollars cheaper only to go with the people that have the best rating, magic carpet. The vehicle was brought right to my door, no jackasses calling me for directions. You would think with this day and age with the 50 dollar garmin and smart phones with navigation and what not, you would not get people who deliver things for a living calling and asking for directions because they are lost or going in the wrong direction. You would not believe how many times this has happened to me. . I have never had to file a claim with anyone so I can't really comment on insurance. I sold a frame off restored buick gs and spent hours waxing and polishing only to have DAS deliver it bug splattered and nasty even thought the buyer paid for enclosed shipping, but what they don't tell you is that its not enclosed the whole way it may be driven from terminal to terminal on an open carrier even you pay an extra 500 bucks for enclosed, the guy was not pleased. Before I buy on amazon, I look at the reviews. Before I buy at best buy, I look at the reviews. I would suggest you do the same when you ship something. Companies can no longer hide their crappy service or products with the internet at everyones disposal, so use it and you will see............magic carpet is the way to go.
