My contacts with Sheila Paquette and others at Magic Carpet Transport were all positive. However, I do have an issue with UShip. I was specifically told by telephone that the transport company would pay any fees owed to UShip and that I would pay nothing. That was a lie. I paid them a total of $151.39 which included an $18 stated fee plus a charge by UShip of $133.39, all of which was paid by me in addition to the $778 shipping charge paid by me to Magic Carpet.
Secondly. the actual pickup and delivery of the vehicle were performed by a company called Pacific Groupage in Irving, Texas. They did not communicate well on either the auto pickup in New York or the delivery to me in Texas. I had to prompt them to call the seller a day before pickup after they told me they would call the seller on the way to get the car. He worked 1.5 hours from the location of the car and would not have been available. I was also told the car would arrive in Texas Friday. Nov 25. Late that afternoon, after hearing nothing and seeing no one, I phoned Pacific Groupage and left two messages asking for help. I later got a call from Paul and was told the car would arrive Saturday. Sheila had given me two phone numbers for Paul at Groupage. Paul had given me the name and phone number of the driver bringing my car to Texas. When I called and spoke to that driver, it was not the correct contact person. He said he was on his way TO New York from Texas, and was not the driver for my car.
My problem is the lack of communication and confusion with Pacific Groupage and being lied to by the lady from UShip. My car arrived in good condition and was delivered to within two blocks of my home, so I am happy about that.

Thank you so very much Larry. I know you are unhappy about the situations you faced and the mistruths conveyed to you. We will be dealing with the carrier and the lack of communication so that this does not happen in the future. I appreciate the 5 Star Rating based off of my service to you.
