No sense of ownership for their carriers

Unlike others who had a positive experience with the carriers, I didn't. I never got a call regarding my vehicle during transit. My car is now scheduled to arrive 4 days after the estimated time of delivery. I put my money on the line and paid $1250 to get my car shipped from coast to coast. I had to call 4 different times to get an answer on the status of my vehicle on the estimated date of delivery of Monday, 18 July. The agent just stated that it was a Monday and didn't have time to catch up. On Monday late afternoon, some other agent then informed me that the car will be arriving anytime from Tuesday - Wednesday. I called on Tuesday hoping that my car would be here. Then, she states that now, it will be here on Thursday. On Thursday, I wouldn't be surprised if she'll tell me that the carrier will be here next week. Plus, there's no compensation for all the expenses I had to pay for taxis or rental cars. To me, professional customer service means you give your clients accurate data, and you meet your scheduled delivery dates. You don't just keep providing excuses like this company did.. I wouldn't mind if it was 1 day late, but definitely not 4 or more. If I paid a lot for the shipment, I would have expected this company would have provided more ownership for the service of these carriers and been proactive in getting my car delivered near its estimated date of arrival.

Christine, in the terms and conditions on line 7 it states that there are no guaranteed delivery times and dates, 7.MCAT does not agree to transport the vehicle on any particular motor carrier, nor in time for any particular event unless client agrees in writing to the extra cost involved with guaranteed pick-up or delivery times.MCAT provides you with an estimated pick up and estimated arrival date of your vehicle(s). However the carrier transporting the vehicle(s) is subject to delays due to weather, road conditions, mechanical problems, etc. There are absolutely no guarantees regarding delivery times and dates. MCAT and the carrier will not be held responsible for car rental fees or any accommodation fees. We do our best here to offer great customer service which we did do yet we cannot control the driver and his schedule which we did discuss with you over the phone. Thank you
