Let me start out by saying, if I can help even one person avoid having to go through what I've gone through, it will be worth sharing my nightmare of an experience on here. For context, I had a $100,000 BMW X3 transported from NY to MN in an enclosed trailer. My pickup was delayed due to some bad weather, which was understandable. I was told the driver would reach out to me with sporadic status updates. After not hearing anything, I reached out via text. Sometimes it would be an hour+ before getting a reply and it was always odd one or two word responses. By the time the vehicle was picked up, it was way past the estimated pickup date range I was originally quoted. None the less, I thought we were good to go and I would have my vehicle within the next 24 hours. I texted the driver and asked if I would be getting the vehicle by the end of the day the next day and he said, "We'll see...". 24 hours later, not hearing anything back, I messaged him again and got a reply that he was making a stop in another state that's in the opposite direction of my state. That was red flag number one and pretty much paved the way for the next several days of hell. Couple days later, I got a random text from the driver just blurting out an intersection. I thought he was letting me know he was close but I didn't recognize the roads. I asked him what state he was in and I got a reply of him saying, "HOLD ON." He then went silent for another day. I figured he meant that text for someone else and if so, that meant he was working on other shipments and not mine. From there, several attempts were made to figure out what was going on. I had no idea where my vehicle was or if I was even going to get it. My broker got the owner of the company on a three-way call with me, his name is "Michael". He apologized and said he had to fire my driver - he complained it's hard to find good drivers, as if I was supposed to feel sorry for him. He offered me $100 as a discount. By this time, my blood was boiling because they still couldn't give me a straight answer on what happened and where my SUV was. The owner told me he would find a new driver and let me know later that day the status of my delivery. I never heard back from him and he wouldn't answer my attempts to contact him either. A few more days went by with no answers, no status updates - nothing. I felt so helpless not knowing where my vehicle was and nobody could give me a straight answer. I would send out a question and get no reply. Fast forward to when it actually got delivered a few days later. They backed the vehicle out and we did an inspection. Discovered one of the key fobs was missing. The two delivery guys helped me look everywhere and we couldn't find it. The guys mentioned my vehicle was shifted around to 3 other drivers. My broker's website claims they are door-to-door; only one driver. Anyways, before I handed them their cashiers check for $1600, I asked about the discount I was promised. My broker told me to not give them the check until I got my discount money back. The drivers were totally playing dumb with me and claimed they didn't have any money. The one guy walked about 30ft away from me and called the owner "Michael"... came back and told me not to worry, and that I should call him the next morning and he'll Venmo me the money. The delivery guys reassured me, "Don't worry, the company is legit. He's not going to sacrifice you giving him a bad review for a piddly $100. Just message him tomorrow and he'll Venmo you the money." After signing a mobile device with my finger for the delivery, I didn't get the Bill of Lading or any type of receipt either. The next couple of days, I tried to contact the owner multiple times and I could see that he read my text messages, but no reply. My broker claimed he was able to contact the owner. I finally got a copy of the BOL, and sure enough, the delivery guys noted that the SUV was delivered exactly as it was picked up -- no mention of the key fob they lost. My broker asked what my Venmo was so that he could share it with the owner. I did. The owner told my broker he sent me the money, which he didn't. After another day of silence, my broker then asked me if I accept Zelle. I sent that over and as I sit here today, the owner has not Zelled' me my money. He was supposed to find my $1000 key fob and I have heard NOTHING back on that either. If you contract these guys or you go through a broker who will find you a carrier, steer clear of MNSTR Trucking Inc. The owner and his drivers are very shady and they walk the fine line between incompetence and fraud. As I sit here writing this review, it's obvious the owner has no intentions of making good on his promises and I'm still deciding on if I will involve my attorney or not.
