M2 Reeves was very responsive keeping me updated by phone and email regarding my pick-up and delivery. Their pricing was the best I could find and very competitive.

They did ask me to drive to a Carriage Auto Carrier Yard in Ashland, VA to drop off my two vehicles as a favor to the driver. I complied, but found out from the driver that the carrier had been in Glen Ellen, VA where I was living. The car carrier then had to find a taxi to drive my wife and I back to our home. I was able to be credited for the taxi by reducing the payment at pick-up.

At pick-up the drivers were very nice. They carefully unloaded my two vehicles. They were not on the original car carrier (which I thought I was told to be the case) but a smaller three car carrier pulled by a F-350 Ford. The exterior's had no damage at all and where relatively clean. I did immediately find that one of the vehicles drivers side door arm was broken. I called dispatch and had it noted on the Bill of Lading. When I followed up with dispatch they said they would not cover it. I talked to M2 Reeves who said they are not responsible for insurance issues therefore the call to the carrier company. I am now working with my own insurance company to see if I can get some coverage thru GL. It was not broken when I left VA.

I was told by M2R early in the process that it would be totally insured. I am not sure that is the case. I would also recommend that a review of the Bill of Lading T&C come earlier in the process. I only saw it once I dropped off my car with the carrier to see the many exclusions.
