worked for me

This is the first time I've had to ship a vehicle. I submitted a request to one of those aggregator sites and was overwhelmed by all the phone calls and emails I received - I didn't realize this was such big business. Offers ranged from $740 to $1200+. I picked Linear Transport because they were near the cheapest and they happened to catch me on the phone at a good time. I was a little reluctant because at the time they only had two reviews on this site. But I spoke with Damien on the phone and asked him several questions, including why they were cheaper. (His answer wasn't really clear - something about the particular truckers they have relationships with - but it was good enough for me.)

As others have mentioned in reviews, they are a broker and they arrange shipment with separate truckers. I paid Linear Transport $150 (by credit card up front) for their broker fee and paid the driver the rest (by money order at time of delivery).

It went pretty smoothly. I did panic a bit when Kyle called me midway through the week and said he could send it off today for an extra $150 or I could wait until something opened up at the original price. It was just a day later when he called back to arrange pickup at the original price. (From what I understand, the broker is basically estimating what truckers will be willing to take to ship your vehicle. It may take some time to get a match and in the meantime there will be some truckers who will be willing to drive out of their way for more money.)

Once the trucker had my car, it went quickly - my car left Georgia about 5 days later than expected, but arrived in Utah just a couple of days later than expected. It was dirty as can be, but $10 at the car wash did the trick there. I had some boxes and things in the back seat and trunk and they were all untouched.

The trucker called me several times: before pickup and just before delivery. I was a little surprised he hadn't looked up my address before arriving - it wasn't coming up in his GPS, so he called for directions a couple of times.

Overall, it was a good experience. I found it very easy to reach Damien or Kyle by phone and email. They were responsive and easy to work with.
