I got a quote from this company 3 months before I needed shipping. I thought that doing this ahead of time, I would get a better price and would have no problem getting it picked up on time. DEFINITELY not the story. My car was scheduled to be picked up on June 20th, I was moving to Cali June 22nd and was ok with my car coming later on. June 20th comes around, and I keep getting the roundabout from the customer service and contact people, saying oh we're working on it, we're trying, be patient, etc. At this point I'm worried my car isnt going to get picked up. Only after it was supposed to be picked up, the guys at the company explained what a brokerage does and that nothing is guaranteed. They then say that the quote they gave me 3 months ago will not be enough to ship my car. They ask for $350 more to get my car shipped on Friday, 4 days after it was supposed to be picked up. I was so desperate at that point that I had to say yes.

They (and other similar companies) will do this to you- get you hooked on a low price, come the day of they will increase the price and tell you sorry there are no guarantees.

SO after agreeing to $350 more ($1350 total) for my car that they tell me will be there between 5-6 days, I'm in contact with the 2nd company who actually SHIPS the car called Wheels on Wheels. These guys were fine, up until the day before it was going to be dropped off, they tell me my car will be late. I'm freaking out at this point because I'm starting work and will have no car to get to my new job. On top of that, they say "oh, we have worse news for you". Evidently, my car has been driven through New MExico and the truck has been hit by a crazy hail storm. Not only do I get my car a day late, have to miss my first day of work to be there to pick it up, but there is $4000 worth of hail damage. The shipping company is not liable, so my insurance had to pay for everything. Talk about a nightmare.

DO YOUR HOMEWORK before working with these kinds of companies.

Victoria's car was picked up early and delivered on time. We called her with an option 4 day BEFORE her pick up not after. We simply gave her an option to add some money to the route to get it moved earlier as she requsted. We had a driver with an open spot on his truck and he was going to California but a spot that was 150 miles away from hers. We then simply called her an gave her an option for an additional $50.00 NOT "$350.00" it can be picked up earlier. She then approved of that and agreed to use that carrier if it could pick her up earlier which it did. Her car was ultimately picked up earlier than we expected ( which she requeted a pick for ASAP ) and droped off on time and safely. We did not force her to spend any extra money all we did was exersice every possible option to get her car moved as soon as we could.
