Having never shipped a car before I was amazed by all the calls I recieved from brokers whom mostly tryed to scare me into giving them the business. Apparently there are many horror stories to tell in the freight business. At the end of the day I selected Lane by Lane mostly by chance. As it turned out, the car was picked up on time and delevered a day ahead of schedule. Communications with the dispatcher was excellent and I experienced none of the problems that I was warned about. Car was in the same conditioned delievered as it was picked up. It was a fairly simple process... I ordered a search from the Broker on Wednesday. Car was picked up the following Monday and delievered 700+ miles away three days later. I payed by credit card and where were no surprises in my case.
