POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I was informed by Lou (sales), for 1350 the truck would be picked up on Saturday 7/30...with the possibility of a one day delay...on Friday I called customer service and was informed a truck would pick-up on Saturday and I would receive a call from dispatch...I never received a phone call. On Saturday I called customer service and no new information was available on pick-up (in other words Koban had no idea if a truck was available)...I called Lou (sales)...he told me regardless of the status he would call me back that day. He never did. On Monday I left messages with Ted (manager) and dispatch on the status. No phone calls were received back by 1200 EDT so I decided to cancel my order.

I called the salesman (Lou) and informed him that I canceled the order at 1200 (noon) and expected a refund. He started to argue with me and hung up the phone.

Koban tells a good story. While delays can happen, the customer should not have to push for answers; leave messages which are not returned. Customer service provided no answers...

First let me state my greatest apologies for the fact we did not get your vehicle transported in a timely matter. We do our best to try and transport your vehicle but the end result, we as brokers do not have control over the availability of the carriers or the price they will take for a load on a given route. I would also like to apologize for the vehicle being a day late on pick up and a day late on delivery but we had used this carrier many times previously and all delivery's were on time with no issues. With that said please take into consideration that there are many factors that can delay a carrier. Some which are out of their control as well. I wish you the best and am truly sorry you fell our service was less than a 5 star. While every effort will be made to meet the customer’s requested scheduling, no guarantee of pickup or delivery date can be made. Delays may occur due to carrier schedules, mechanical failure, inclement weather, and unforeseen circumstances. If a specific pick up date is required, special arrangements can be made with additional charges. Expedite orders are guaranteed to be picked up within 72 business hours from the time the initial deposit was charged. Otherwise all dates of pickup and delivery are estimated and not guaranteed.
